So I've met most of my teammates now. They're...well, very ordinary people, most of them. At least personality-wise. They're tolerable. I have trouble keeping everyone's names straight. The people who stood out were:

Metatron. He's like Cecil's twin brother, only even more trusting and hopeful and optimistic and ugh. I get the feeling I can trust him, but I'm not sure.

Lina. She seems to come from a planet similar to mine. She's alright. Very helpful. She's like a far less annoying Edge.

Henry. A civilian, through and through. At least he's alright with puzzles and can handle a weapon. I'm not going to be happy if I have to babysit him on the battlefield. I don't know what to think of him. At least he seems to try to be helpful.

Nix. He's direct. I like that in a person.

Dorian. He's Nix's roommate. Very friendly, and he knows when to stop prying.

Alice. She's curious, but doesn't try to pressure me into giving her my life story. Another thing I like in a person. I think she's a white mage, or something similar. Sort of reminds me of Rosa.

Ryuzaki, Luke, L, whateverthehellhisnameis. Oooh, I don't like him. Not at all. If he applied half the effort into interrogating the enemy as he did his allies, we'd win this tournament easily. I doubt he can be trusted. I'll be watching him.

Which brings me to my next concern: my teammates are far too trusting. Sure, we're the "good guys" and all, but you need to have some common sense. It seems like everyone is all too willing to spill their guts to new people, and more than happy to have friendly little chats with the enemy. It's driving me up the wall.

Another thing, a lot of these people seem like everyday ordinary civilians. What the hell are they doing here? It's like this kind, benevolent God that's called us here wants us to lose. I've been looking at some of the entries of the things on Hell's side, and Odin's blade, I'd say we were outmatched. A lot of them aren't even human.

I hope Metatron's optimism is as helpful as he makes it out to be, because we're sure as Hell going to need it.

Do we have a training area around here?

Am I allowed to inquire why you want to locate a training facility? Or would that be too interrogative for you?

But since you asked first...

I can't help. I haven't seen anything like that. So sorry that I wasted the 4.7 seconds it took you to read this; it's just that, since following your advice, I have in inordinate amount of free time on my hands.

Oh, aren't you just a riot.

Why do most people need a training facility? Just a wild guess here, but I think it may be because they need to train. Sharpen their skills. Prepare for battle.

That's the first time I've been compared to violent mob activity. I feel like I should be breaking a bottle or something, to celebrate. This must mean that, contrary to popular opinion, I have a sense of humor.

I totally understand that you, personally, probably need to train. Sharpen your skills. Prepare for battle. None of which you could do without the help of a training facility.

And, just for time's sake... what's your favorite color? Are your finger joints flexible enough to carry out everyday tasks? What year did Houdini die???

Or I could just find you. Beating you senseless probably wouldn't count as training, but it would sure make me feel better.

Don't have one. Yes. I have no idea who or what the hell Houdini is.

Do you feel better now? I know I feel better, sharing such deep, dark secrets with you. I...I think I'm going to cry. Would you hold me? I'm so terribly lonely!

Ooh, was that a threat? You are way conducive to teamwork.

I have it on personal testimony and very good information that Light Yagami would make a much better punching bag than I would. Just FYI, you know.

I'm not your psychotherapist, but I'm glad you feel better. Sometimes, telling the paranoid detective what he wants to know gives you this incredible feeling of release, does it not? Since you're in an answering kind of mood, I'll throw a few more at you.

Where are you from? Is Kain Highwind your real name? When I say the word "sparrow," what is the first word or concept that comes to mind?

Any of the answers you provide me with could help win the war.

Thanks, I try.

Don't worry, those on the other side are already at the top of my list of people that need to die.

...Alright, you know what? I'm done with this game. Have fun dissecting your teammates.

Fine. I'll stop pestering you, for now... I think I've gotten too convoluted to argue with. I hate it when that happens. Anyway, I have to go... dissect.... things.

Hey, both of you! Come on, knock this off. We're on the same side, we're teammates. we shouldn't be fighting with each other. We've got a whole other team of people to worry about, and... well... we shouldn't be showing them we're not united. If you two have to go at each other's throats, do it in private, okay?

It doesn't matter who started it. It's... it's stupid of us to be showing them that we're not all working together. They can use that. They're paying attention to what we say and what we do, and...

Just take it out of the public eye, okay?

It always does sound like fun, Light... until pampered geniuses with nice hair and god complexes get their adam's apples carved out by scalpels.

((OOC: Is it funny that, before I read this, I replied to your other comment with the word 'pampered' in it as well?))

Still sounds like fun if the sugar-addicted freak gets castrated.

To what point and purpose, Light? If that kind of talk is supposed to scare me, I can tell that it's an empty threat. Your boundless desire would prevent you from taking the turbines out of the generator, so to speak.

You'd want to monopolize the whole plant, you horny tool.

((lol, yeah, it is funny!))

I suppose it would be useless to castrate you, wouldn't it? You never seemed one to use it at all.

So, instead, I think I'd cut out your tongue so you could no longer taste any of those damn sweets of yours.

Much better to not use it than to be ruled by it, Yagami Light.

I find it interesting that your first thought, on cutting out my tongue, would be gladness at depriving me of pleasure. Most people associate the tongue with speech before taste, Light.

Very true. I wouldn't really know, but I'm sure I'd rather keep away from sex than just go into it with anyone.

You ate more than you talked. Besides, I would want to torture you..and taking away something you seemed so accustomed to is torture in and of itself.

you COULD always target the taste cortex in the insula/frontal operculum... but that's delicate work. Even though I find the prospect of brain surgery fairly titillating, though, I don't know if I'd trust you near my amygdala.

Delicate work that takes too much time. Cut out tongue and get rid of both taste and speech to a large extent. Sounds simple enough for a small amount of time.

((YOUR ICON! ...We need to come up with some situation for hate sex so bad))

But that's not titillating at all!

I think that you're just lazy, Light.

((yeah, no kidding, lol))
